THE MATCHUP

This week, the Tennessee Titans (0-1) play their second consecutive home game to start the season, welcoming the Philadelphia Eagles (1-0) to Nashville for the first time since 2018. Kickoff at Nissan Stadium is scheduled for noon CDT on Sunday, Sept. 20.

This is only the fourth time the Eagles have played at Nissan Stadium since the venue opened in 1999. In the 2018 meeting, the Titans won 26-23 in overtime. Four years later, the Eagles defeated the Titans in Philadelphia to increase their series lead to 8-5.

The last time the Titans hosted back-to-back contests to start a season was 2010, when the Oakland Raiders and Pittsburgh Steelers visited.
