NASHVILLE, Tenn. – During the first month of free agency, the Titans have addressed some holes on the roster.
A total of seven players have been added – four on offense, and three on defense.
But the upcoming NFL Draft will add more possibilities.
ESPN draft guru Todd McShay has posted a three-round mock draft for all 32 NFL teams, including the Titans.
McShay has the Titans taking an offensive lineman, a pass rusher and a receiver in the first three rounds.
Here's a look at McShay's picks:
• Round 1 (25): Connor Williams, OG/OT, Texas.
• Round 2 (57): Sam Hubbard, DE, Ohio State.
• Round 3 (89): Deon Cain, WR, Clemson.
And here's McShay's rationale: A knee injury derailed Williams' final season at Texas, but he's an athletic offensive lineman. A left tackle in college, he may move to the right side or inside due to short arms. He'd offer good depth after Jack Conklin's ACL tear. Hubbard is a high-motor defensive end who could help Tennessee's pass rush. Cain has made strides as a route runner and tested well at the combine. He could become an effective No. 2 wideout in time.
At the start of his 32-team mock, McShay wrote "I'm not projecting picks based on what I'm hearing around the league."
"This is me making 100 picks — three full rounds — based on what's best for each team at that slot, so that each team gets an 'A' grade from me," he wrote. "And yes, I'm following Kiper's rules on this one and not making any trades."
This offseason, the Titans have signed a pair of interior linemen in Kevin Pamphile (Tampa Bay) and Xavier Su'a-Filo, and also tendered guard Quinton Spain, who has signed the one-year deal. The Titans haven't yet added a pass rusher or receiver in free agency.
McShay, by the way, gave the Browns former USC quarterback Sam Darnold with the first overall pick.
The NFL Draft begins on April 26.
