Biography
PRO: The Titans selected Marcus Harris in the sixth round of the 2025 NFL Draft. The 5-foot-11-inch cornerback is rangy and athletic in coverage and will look to use his sound tackling ability to find a role in competitive defensive backs room. Harris finished his college career with 46 tackles and two interceptions last season at the University of California after transferring from the University of Idaho.
CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:
• After starting as a preferred walk-on at Oregon State, Harris transferred to Idaho in 2021, landing first team All-Big Sky honors as a senior in 2023.
• As a graduate with the Golden Bears, Harris fit in quickly, starting 12 games and recording two interceptions and seven passes defensed.

COLLEGE:
• Harris finsihed his college career at the University of California after spending the four previous seasons (2021-23) at Idaho where he appeared in 40 games, garnering first team FCS All-American and first team All-Big Sky honors. Over his college career, Harris appeared in 53 total contests, amassing 200 tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss, eight interceptions and 42 passes defensed to go with three defensive touchdowns. He began his college career as a walk-on at Oregon State, redshirted his freshman year in 2019 before opting out of the 2020 fall season and he transferring to Idaho.
AS A GRADUATE (2024), appeared in 13 games with 12 starts at California. Recorded 46 tackles, five passes defensed, 2.5 tackles for loss, two interceptions and one forced fumble. Transferred from Idaho prior to the season.
• Against UC Davis (8/31), nabbed an interception in his first game with the team, returning the takeaway for 19 yards. Also added a tackle and a pass defensed.
• At Auburn (9/7), recorded five tackles and one pass defensed.
• Against San Diego State (9/14), recorded two tackles and his second interception of the season.
• Against Miami (Fla) (10/5), notched a career-high 10 tackles and a tackle for loss. Added a pass defensed.
• Against NC State (10/19), registered six tackles, a tackle for loss and forced fumble.
AS A SENIOR (2023), started all 13 games at Idaho, amassing 51 tackles, a 5.5 stops for loss, three interceptions, 10 passes defensed and a half sack. Named first team FCS All-American and first team All-Big Sky.
• At Lamar (8/31), recorded five tackles, one interception and a half sack.
• Against Sacramento State (9/23), notched at least one pass defensed for the fourth consecutive game to start the season.
• At California Poly (10/7), broke up a career-high three passes.
•Against Montana (10/14), recorded five tackles including 1.5 tackles for loss.
• At Northern Colorado (11/4), returned an interception 70 yards for a touchdown in the win. Added five tackles. Was named Big Sky Co-Player of the Week for his efforts.
• Against Southern Illinois (12/2), recorded his third interception of the season for a personal best. Added a career-high two tackles for loss.
AS A JUNIOR (2022), started all 12 games for the Vandals. Recorded a career-high 53 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, two interceptions, 14 passes defensed and one fumble recovery. Also scored two defensive touchdowns on an interception and a fumble recovery.
• At Washington State (9/3), recorded six tackles, a pass break-up and returned a fumble 45 yards for a touchdown, his first college touchdown.
• At Sacramento State (10/29), nabbed his first interception of the season to go with eight tackles.
• At Idaho State (11/19), returned an interception 56 yards for a touchdown. Added a pass defensed and a tackle for loss in the blowout victory.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2021), appeared in 11 games for the Vandals. Recorded 46 tackles, one interception and seven passes defensed. Added a forced fumble and a tackle for loss.
• At Oregon State (9/18), notched six tackles and a tackle for loss.
• At UC Davis (10/2), recorded a then career-high eight tackles.
• Against Portland State (10/9), recorded six tackles, one forced fumble and a pass defensed in the win.
• Against Northern Arizona (10/30), notched a season-high three passes defensed.
• At Montana State, recorded three tackles and his first college interception.
AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (Spring 2021), opted out of the Beavers fall season and transferred to Idaho for the Vandals 2021 spring season. Appeared in four games recording four tackles.
AS A FRESHMAN (2019), redshirted at Oregon State.
• Graduated from Idaho with a bachelor's degree in psychology in May 2023.
PERSONAL:
• Attened Grant (Ore.) High School, where he played cornerback and wide receiver. Earned all-region honors as a senior after helping Grant to an 8-3 record as a junior.
• Was a multi-sport athlete, also lettering in football, basketball and track. Ran the 100 meter and 200 meter races and finished third and second, respectively at the 6A state championship as a senior.
