Biography

PRO: The Titans selected Marcus Harris in the sixth round of the 2025 NFL Draft. The 5-foot-11-inch cornerback is rangy and athletic in coverage with a sound tackling ability. As a rookie, Harris carved out a role as a nickle cornerback, appearing in 14 games with five starts and amassing 25 tackles, five passes defensed and a forced fumble. Harris finished his college career with 46 tackles and two interceptions last season at the University of California after transferring from the University of Idaho.

COLLEGE:
‱ Harris finished his college career at the University of California after spending the four previous seasons (2021-23) at Idaho where he appeared in 40 games, garnering first team FCS All-American and first team All-Big Sky honors. Over his college career, Harris appeared in 53 total contests, amassing 200 tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss, eight interceptions and 42 passes defensed to go with three defensive touchdowns. He began his college career as a walk-on at Oregon State, redshirted his freshman year in 2019 before opting out of the 2020 fall season and transferring to Idaho.
‱ As a graduate (2024), appeared in 13 games with 12 starts at California. Recorded 46 tackles, five passes defensed, 2.5 tackles for loss, two interceptions and one forced fumble. Transferred from Idaho prior to the season.
‱ As a senior (2023), started all 13 games at Idaho, amassing 51 tackles, 5.5 stops for loss, three interceptions, 10 passes defensed and a half sack. Named first team FCS All-American and first team All-Big Sky.
‱ As a junior (2022), started all 12 games for the Vandals. Recorded a career-high 53 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, two interceptions, 14 passes defensed and one fumble recovery. Also scored two defensive touchdowns on an interception and a fumble recovery.
‱ As a sophomore (2021), appeared in 11 games for the Vandals. Recorded 46 tackles, one interception and seven passes defensed. Added a forced fumble and a tackle for loss.
‱ As a redshirt freshman (Spring 2021), opted out of the Beavers fall season and transferred to Idaho for the Vandals 2021 spring season. Appeared in four games recording four tackles.
‱ As a freshman (2019), redshirted at Oregon State.
‱ Graduated from Idaho with a bachelor's degree in psychology in May 2023.

PERSONAL:
‱ Attended Grant (Ore.) High School, where he played cornerback and wide receiver. Earned all-region honors as a senior after helping Grant to an 8-3 record as a junior.
‱ Was a multi-sport athlete, lettering in football, basketball and track. Ran the 100 meter and 200 meter races and finished third and second, respectively at the 6A state championship as a senior.
