Biography

PRO: The Titans selected Kalel Mullings in the sixth round of the 2025 NFL Draft. The 6-foot-2-inch, 226-pounder is a big-bodied back with an innate ability to find holes and get upfield. The Boston, Mass., native played five seasons (2020-24) at the University of Michigan where he began his career as a linebacker before transitioning to running back during his junior year.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:
• Mullings experienced a breakout year during his final season at Michigan in 2024. He led the team while setting career bests with 948 rushing yards on 185 carries with 12 touchdowns.
• Was part of the 2023 National Championship team. During the championship game, Mullings gained 21 yards on three carries.

TITANS TIDBITS:
• Mullings was a part of an a cappella group all four years of high school at Milton Academy called the Miltones. He can also play the saxophone.
• Mullings is very passionate about traveling. He has visited South Africa, Portugal, Dubai, Shanghai, Morocco, Costa Rica, Trinidad, France, Spain, Belgium, Jamaica and England and hopes to continue to add to this list.
• During his time at the University of Michigan Business School, Mullings fell in love with real estate and sees it as a chance to help society. • The Boston, Mass., native was selected by the Titans in the sixth round (188th overall) of the 2025 NFL Draft.

COLLEGE:
• Mullings played five seasons (2020-24) at Michigan. He began his collegiate career as a linebacker and recorded 27 tackles and one pass defensed before transitioning to running back during his junior campaign. He recorded 235 carries for 1,201 yards and 16 touchdowns over his three seasons (2022-24) playing running back. He had a breakout year his final season when he tallied 948 yards on 185 carries with 12 touchdowns.

AS A GRADUATE (2024), appeared in 12 games with four starts at running back. Led the team with 948 yards on 185 carries with 12 touchdowns. Also had six receptions for 35 yards and 74 kickoff return yards. On six occasions, he shared offensive player of the game honors. Was named third team All-Big Ten by the media. Named as the team's Offensive Player of the Year and the co-Bo Schembechler Most Valuable Player.
• Against Fresno State (8/31), led the team with 92 yards on 15 carries. Added 74 yards on three kickoff returns. Shared offensive player of the week honors for his performance.
• Against Arkansas State (9/7), recorded 153 rushing yards on 15 attempts with two touchdowns. Shared offensive player of the week honors for his performance.
• Against Southern California (9/21), posted a career-high 159 rushing yards with two touchdown on 17 carries. Shared offensive player of the week honors for his performance.
• Against Minnesota (9/28), made his first career start in the backfield and netted 111 rushing yards with two touchdowns on 24 carries. Shared offensive player of the week honors for his performance.
• At Illinois (10/19), totaled 87 yards on 19 rushes with one touchdown. Added one reception for eight yards.
• At Indiana (11/9), ran 10 times for 30 yards with one touchdown. Also caught two passes for eight yards.
• Against Northwestern (11/23), scored a career-high three touchdowns, totaling 92 yards on 12 carries. Shared offensive player of the week honors for his performance.
• At Ohio State (11/30), reached 116 yards on the ground on 32 carries with one touchdown. Shared offensive player of the week honors for his performance.

AS A SENIOR (2023), played in 13 games at running back and contributed on special teams. Recorded 36 rushing attempts for 22 yards with one touchdown. Also had two receptions for 32 yards and returned one kickoff 26 yards. Made two tackles on defense.
• Against Rutgers (9/23), had six carries for 40 yards.
• At Nebraska (9/30), totaled 43 yards on five carries including a 20-yard touchdown run. Shared offensive player of the week honors for his performance.
• At Minnesota (10/7), ran eight times for a then career-high 47 yards. Also had a 13-yard reception.
• Against Iowa (12/2), ran three times for 15 yards in the Big Ten Championship. Also played on special teams.
• Against Alabama (1/1), totaled 25 yards with a six-yard rush and a 19-yard catch in the Rose Bowl/CFP Semifinal.
• Against Washington (1/8), gained 21 yards on three carries in the National Championship game victory.

AS A JUNIOR (2022), appeared in 12 games with one start. Contributed as a linebacker in 10 games and as a running back in three. Totaled 12 tackles on defense. Tallied 14 rushing attempts for 31 yards with three touchdowns. Also recorded one punt return for 22 yards and completed one pass.
• Against Colorado State (9/3), made his first collegiate start and recorded two tackles.
• Against Connecticut (9/17), had one tackle and returned a blocked punt 20 yards.
• At Indiana (10/8), tallied three tackles.
• At Ohio State (11/26), saw snaps at linebacker, on special teams and at running back. Rushed once and completed a 15-yard pass to convert a third down.
• Against Purdue (12/3), carried the ball eight times for 26 yards and one touchdown in the Big Ten Championship. Also played as a linebacker and on special teams, making one tackle.
• Against Texas Christian (12/31), recorded five rushing attempts with a goal-line touchdown in the Fiesta Bowl/CFP Semifinal.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2021), appeared in 13 games asa linebacker and tallied 11 tackles.
• Against Western Michigan (9/4), recorded two tackles.
• Against Northern Illinois (9/18), tallied one tackle.
• Against Rutgers (9/25), recorded a career-high six tackles.

AS A FRESHMAN (2020), appeared in six games on special teams and on defense as linebacker. Had one tackle and one pass defensed.
• At Minnesota (10/24), made his college debut and tallied one pass defensed.
• Against Wisconsin (11/14), recorded his first career tackle.
• Graduated from Michigan with a degree in business administration and a minor in real estate in May of 2024.

• Attended Milton (Mass.) Academy and selected as a team captain his senior year. Was named Gatorade Player of the Year in the state of Massachusetts.
• Four-star ranking by 247Sports and Rivals.com. Top-rated player in Massachusetts, the 13th-best outside linebacker prospect and the 158th overall prospect in the nation by 247Sports.
• As a senior (2019), gained 371 rushing yards and scored 22 touchdowns. Added 18 receptions for 289 yards and four touchdowns. Additionally, he added two interceptions and two sacks on defense. Led Milton to an 8-1 record and the 2019 league championship.
• Also played basketball and ran track (4x100, 100-meter dash, 200-meter dash and long jump).
