Jon Salge

Director, Player Personnel

Biography

Jon Salge enters his second season as Director of Player Personnel for the Tennessee Titans in 2026, after being promoted to the role in May 2025.  He has spent 21 seasons with the organization – the longest active tenure of any member of the Titans player personnel staff – and has worked under six Titans general managers.

Salge has held a variety of roles across both the college and pro scouting departments.  He previously served as the team's Director of College Scouting for eight seasons, managing the team's college scouting staff and overseeing the evaluation of draft-eligible prospects.

Prior to that role, Salge spent eight seasons as a college area scout, covering the Southwest region.  Early in his time in that role, he was mentored by longtime Titans/Oilers scout and cornerstone of the organization, C.O. Brocato. Salge eventually assumed responsibility for the area that C.O. covered for nearly 40 years.

He also worked two seasons as a pro scout, evaluating players across professional football leagues and contributing to free agent acquisition efforts.  Additionally, he served as an advance scout, assisting in preparation for upcoming opponents.

Salge began his Titans career as a scouting assistant, helping both pro and college departments with film cutups and administrative duties.  Prior to that, he worked part-time as a scouting intern with the organization, while also splitting time as a personnel assistant with the city's former Arena Football League team, the Nashville Kats.

Salge earned his bachelor's degree in Sport Management from the University of Tennessee, where he interned with the football recruiting department.  He later received his master's degree in Sport Management from Middle Tennessee State University.

A native of Franklin, Tennessee, he and his wife, Sara, have two sons, Evan and Tyler, and reside in Thompson's Station.
