Al Robertson from Casa Grande, Arizona
Question: Every year we hear high expectations for the offensive line, yet every year our offensive line is below average. What will be different about 2026?

Jim: Hey Al. Let's be honest, the outside expectations for the o-line heading into the past few seasons haven't been very high. And, unfortunately, the unit as a whole wasn't able to prove the skeptics wrong. There have been bright spots, and guard Peter Skoronski has proven to be a solid pro. But there have been underperforming players (some who are no longer on the team), and consistency across the board has been an issue. Once again, there are a lot of questions, especially on the interior line, heading into this season. I'm not going to make any bold predictions on the group in May, not without seeing any of the chief competitors, from veterans to rookies, in pads. I think we all know the team needs to see improvement, and in time, we'll find out if that happens.

Wes White from Bozeman, Montana
Question: Howdy Jim! hope all is well in TN. After reading a lot of comments it seems the consensus is we are all bummed we got no Love in the draft :-), but I like all the picks and look forward to seeing what this team can do.
But on the subject of RB's, where is Kalel Mullings?! I think he could be our future RB #1, just like I KNEW Henry would be when we drafted him. As prolific as Henry, probably not, but to me there are similarities that could bring excitement to that dept. of the team that has been absent since his departure.
Hope you're enjoying the warm spring in the south.. snow is still falling in the great white north!
Cheers!

Jim: Kalel is still here, competing. And, I like him. But even without Love being in the mix, he has more competition heading into this season. Behind Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears, the team has veterans Michael Carter and Julius Chestnut, and now a promising rookie in Nick Sinlgeton. Kalel's focus right now it to stay healthy, and in the competition.

Raymond Farrar from St. Louis, Missouri
Question: The draft has come and gone (FINALLY). Carnell Tate is a very good reason why I don't like mock drafts because none of the "experts" had him coming to the Titans. I love it! Now my question: Do you think the Titans will acquire any more free agents or has that ship sailed already?

Jim: Hey Raymond. Let's give credit where it's due: Chris Johnson had the Titans taking Tate … Yes, the team will add more free agents. It's just a matter of who, and when. But it's a long way until the season and this roster will be adjusted many times with additions, and subtractions.

Bob Galasso from Johnstown, Pennsylvania
Question: Hi Jim. It's been a while since I've checked in with you. Excited to see what the Titans are going to do this year... New Coaching staff and coordinators on both sides of the ball, some good free-agent signings, and I think one of the better drafts over the last few years.... I just wanted to say that while I think the Titans did well during the early rounds of the draft I'm really happy that they were able to land RB Nick Singleton from Penn State in the fifth round! This guy is a beast and I was able to see him every Saturday hailing from PA during his collegiate career... He runs with power like Derrick Henry did yet is very fast and can quicky kick it into another gear, alot like Chris Johnson and Eddie George could... in addition his ability to catch like McCaffrey yet block like Lorenzo Neal did are just some of the reasons I think this kid is pretty special. His biggest attribute in my opinion is his unselfishness and willingness to do whatever he is called upon to do.... This may sound like alot of overstating his ability, but I think everyone is about to see just how lucky the Titans were to get him.
With Carnell Tate and the other additions through free-agency and the draft I think the offense should be very dynamic and give Cam Ward a lot of options he didn't have last year! As always thanks for the awesome job you do everyday in keeping the mailbag moving and keeping everyone informed. Titan UP!!

Jim: Good to hear from you again, Bob. I like Singleton as well. He's going to be a real contender. I've noticed a lot of folks seem pretty excited about the draft class. Definitely some good players in the bunch.

Eric Biederman from Franklin, Tennessee
Question: Hey Jim! I like the class. Carnell Tate was probably a few spots overdrafted but in my opinion it was absolutely necessary. I like the trade up for Faulk, even though the production has been lacking, because I think Saleh can coach it into him. He's already a high level run defender with pass rush upside if Saleh can coach it into him. I like the Hill selection, cause we really needed another linebacker across from Cedric Gray. Everything else is pretty meh in my opinion but the first 3 selections were fantastic in my opinion. A grade from me.

Jim: Thanks for weighing in, Eric.

Samuel Barattiero from La Vergne, Tennessee
Question: Hi Jim. Hope you are doing well! I'm very excited for this season! I think they will do great especially Cam Ward. I am a big fan of him! This is a long shot but do you think it's possible for me to get an autograph from Cam Ward on my custom Jersey I have? I haven't been to a Titans game yet, unfortunately, but I do plan on it hopefully this season! Anyways, I hope you have a great week, Titan Up!!!

Jim: Appreciate it, Samuel.

Bob Easley from Austin, Texas
Question: Hi Jim, two random thoughts about the Titans state of affairs.
- First, I, like many would have loved to get Love, but not because I want to build upon the Oiler/Titan history of great running backs. I want Titan leadership to focus on developing a team that is regularly challenging for a Super Bowl - and I believe they are doing that. Though our running back history had some exciting and successful teams, the result has only been one Super Bowl appearance - and that took a Music City Miracle😀. All this to say, I applaud that we didn't trade up and lose draft capital to get Love.
- Concerning our offensive line, I'm going to trust what Mike Borgonzi and the team have done to this point. As I do, I can't help but wonder if maybe Bill Callahan was actually a liability for our OL because after he was gone, there seemed to be noticeable improvement. Maybe the OL began playing freer with Bill Callahan gone? Or if it wasn't Bill Callahan, maybe the OL improved because after Brian Callahan was gone, the offense opened up a little more as we started allowing Cam an option to run and to QB sneak. Possibly, with teams knowing they have to be prepared for a QB run, they could no longer sell out on a pass play knowing Cam would not run and no longer sell out on a run play, only focusing on the running back. With those thoughts, I wonder if our team leaders have concluded we have a better OL than most of us thought. Of course, I still hope we can improve the OL, but I'm looking for Latham and some others to have break out years. Yep, lots of "maybe"s - we will see✅

Jim: I hear ya, Bob. And you're right, a lot of maybes this time of year. We need to see some things play out.

Dalton Kniola from Hendersonville, Tennessee
Question: Hey, Jim! Always love reading your material! I have noticed quite a few people throwing shade at the Titans for trading up to get Keldric Faulk. I know he only had 2 sacks in 2025 and played in a different scheme in college, but he also had 30 pressures on an Auburn team that was all-around mediocre. I think Saleh will be able to use him in ways in a 4-3 scheme that he never would have seen in a 3-4. Do you think his lack of productivity is more from his own doing or the fact that he didn't fit Auburn's scheme or coaching? And just how much potential do you think there is for Saleh to tap into? Thank you for your time, and God bless!

Jim: Appreciate it, Dalton. I'm not going to pretend I watched every snap of Keldric from Auburn, but I saw him play a pretty good bit. He has great size and ability, and the coaches are excited about his future. I do think he was picked because of his potential in the scheme. One thing we know for sure is his presence makes the team even deeper on the d-line. In time, we'll find out how good he can be.

Have a great week everyone!
