Titans Will Return to London for a Game During 2023 Season

NASHVILLE – London is calling the Titans once again.

The NFL announced on Thursday morning the Titans have been selected as one of the designated teams for an International Game during the 2023 season. The NFL announced there will be three International Games in the UK next season.

The Titans will play in London at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the only purpose-built NFL stadium outside of the United States.

Details of the date, opponent and kickoff time will be determined later in the year when the full 2023 schedule is announced by the NFL. Fans can register their interest in purchasing tickets by visiting HERE.

It is known the opponent will be from the Titans "home" schedule. (More information on how that impacts season ticket members is below).

In recent years, the International Games have been played between weeks 5-6.

The Titans last played in London during the 2018 season, a game that was played at Wembley Stadium.

"It's an honor to be one of the teams representing the NFL abroad in 2023 and play a role in continuing the incredible growth our sport has seen in the UK," Titans President and CEO Burke Nihill said. "The atmosphere in London leading up to and at our game in 2018 was absolutely electric. Since then, we've remained in touch with our UK-based Titans fans and they've grown into one of our most enthusiastic fan bases. We can't wait to see them again this upcoming season at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and know many of our fans here in Tennessee will be excited to make the trip as well."

"We are excited to represent the NFL in London this season," added Titans Head Coach Mike Vrabel. "I really enjoyed our experience during our last visit. The energy in the stadium and the atmosphere surrounding the game was impressive, and I am looking forward to being part of that again."

Five teams in total are set to play in the 2023 NFL International Games.

In addition to the Titans, the Bills, and Jaguars are set to play games in the UK, and the 2023 season will also see the Chiefs and Patriots and both play regular season games in Germany, with destination cities to be announced later this year.

"Growing the league and our sport internationally is a major strategic priority for the NFL, and we are excited to again be playing five games outside of the United States in 2023," Peter O'Reilly, NFL Executive Vice President, Club Business, Major Events & International, said in a statement. "We know how important live regular season games are to our passionate global fans and we thank our clubs for their strong, long-term commitment to this important initiative. Interest in our game globally is at an all-time high, and we look forward to returning to the UK and Germany in 2023 with some of the most iconic clubs and stars in the NFL."

Henry Hodgson, GM NFL UK, added: "We are excited to welcome these three teams back to the UK in 2023. It's a huge milestone for the Jaguars to be playing in London for the 10th time since playing their first game in 2013 and demonstrates their commitment to this market. The Bills and Titans, meanwhile, are two iconic teams with superstar players, who will get the chance to play at the world-class Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, for the first time in their histories."

Information on how the international game will impact the payment for season ticket members in 2023:

In 2021, the NFL expanded the regular season to 17 games, including a requirement for teams to play at least one (1) designated international game on a rotating basis. The Titans will now play eight (8) 2023 regular season games at Nissan Stadium, eight (8) games on the road, and one (1) designated game in London. Additional details, including the date, opponent, and travel packages from On Location will be confirmed with the full schedule announcement in coming months.

Once the international game date and opponent are determined, season ticket members' payment balance for 2023 will be automatically reduced. Those enrolled in a monthly payment plan will see their payments automatically adjusted, with no action required on their part. Season ticket members who have already made their full payment for 2023 season tickets will have a credit automatically applied to their accounts.
