NASHVILLE – Keldric Faulk got his introduction to the NFL over the weekend.
Faulk, a first-round pick of the Titans in April's NFL Draft, was in town for the team's rookie minicamp.
He met his coaches, and a bunch of his new teammates.
"Just trying to get up to speed with all the vets that's been here," he said. "It's been good though. Just really been trying to get used to a new city, new coaches, new defense to learn, new everything."
Everything is new for Faulk, and the Titans are confident their new edge rusher from Auburn can get up to speed.
Faulk has the size – he's 6-foot-5, 274 pounds. He has also shown some promising ability – he was a third-team All-SEC performer for the War Eagles in 2025, when he started all 12 games and tallied 29 tackles, five tackles for a loss and two sacks. Faulk last year was second on Auburn's team with 30 pressures, per Pro Football Focus.
But he has to learn, and adjust to the newness.
"Football is going to be football," he said. "It's just going to the concepts of what you're learning. Some of it is similar to what I did at Auburn. And it's really just me trying to unlearn what I already did and just trying to relearn it again, just trying to get the concepts and the wording down from this staff and just try to get down what they're trying to get me to learn to do."
In three college seasons at Auburn, Faulk posted 109 tackles with 10 sacks and 19.5 tackles for loss.
He started 32 straight games to end his college career, and he was a team captain.
In Tennessee, he plans to learn from the veterans, and his new coaches.
"And just try to get myself in the best condition I possibly can and to keep my head down and just work," he said. "It's a blessing that I got this far as far as my career, but this is not the top of it, it's not the peak of it. I've still got a whole lot of work to do, so just keep my head down and work."
