NASHVILLE – The Titans released their first 2026 Unofficial Depth Chart on Sunday.
The word "Unofficial" is written in bold letters across the top, with the words, 'As of August 8, 2026' at the bottom of the text. Keep in mind the Titans are just eight practices into training camp, and they're over a month away from the regular season opener against the New York Jets on September 13.
So, yes, it's early.
On Tuesday, the Titans will face the 49ers in a joint practice in Santa Clara, Calif., leading up to their preseason game on Thursday night.
But, still, everyone loves taking a peek at the initial depth chart.
Here's a look at 20 things that caught my eye when I got my hands on it:
-Cam Ward is listed as the team's starting quarterback. This is no surprise, of course. Behind him the order really isn't surprising either, but it's worth noting: Mitchell Trubisky is officially listed as the No.2 QB, then Will Levis, and Hendon Hooker.
-The Titans are listed with a three-receiver set, with Calvin Ridley, Wan'Dale Robinson and rookie Carnell Tate listed as starters. Immediately behind each of them: Elic Ayomanor, Chimere Dike and Bryce Oliver.
-Xavier Restrepo, K.J. Osborn and Courtney Jackson are listed third in line at each receiver spot.
-Austin Schlottmann is listed as the starting center, with Andre James behind him. Pat Coogan is listed as third on the depth chart at center.
-Cordell Volson is listed as the starting right guard, with Fernando Carmona Jr. listed behind him.
-Austin Deculus is listed as Dan Moore Jr.'s back-up at left tackle, and Brandon Crenshaw-Dickson is listed behind starter JC Latham at right tackle.
-The Titans listed one tight end in the starting lineup, and it's Gunnar Helm.
-Daniel Bellinger listed as the second-team tight end, ahead David Martin-Robinson, Kylen Granson, Jaren Kanak and Joel Wilson.
-Tony Pollard is listed as the starter at running back, ahead of Tyjae Spears. Behind them: Julius Chestnut, Michael Carter, Kalel Mullings and Nick Singleton.
-The depth chart on defense includes a 4-3 look, but also with five defensive backs, including a nickel cornerback.
-Behind the starting cornerbacks (Alontae Taylor, Cor'Dale Flott and nickel Marcus Harris), Micah Robinson, Joshua Willams and Keydrain Calligan (nickel) are next in line.
-Mohamoud Diabate is listed as a starter at linebacker, ahead of Anthony Hill Jr.
-Cody Barton and Cedric Gray are the other two starting linebackers, with James Williams Sr. and Dorian Mausi behind them.
-Femi Oladejo is listed as Jermaine Johnson's back-up at defensive end. Keldric Faulk is listed as the back-up behind defensive end Jacob Martin on the opposite edge.
-Solomon Thomas and Jordan Elliott are listed behind starters Jeffery Simmons and John Franklin-Myers inside at defensive line.
-Tony Adams and Kendell Brooks are listed as the back-up safeties, behind starters Amani Hooker and Kevin Winston Jr.
-Chimere Dike is listed as No.1 on the depth chart at punt returner, ahead of Mason Kinsey.
-Chimere Dike is also listed at No.1 on the depth chart at kick returner, ahead of Michael Carter.
-There is no back-up long snapper listed behind Morgan Cox.
-Tommy Townsend is listed as the starting holder, with Mitchell Trubisky listed behind him.
