NASHVILLE – Titans receiver Carnell Tate has been named NFL Offensive Rookie of the Month for the month of October.

It comes a month after Titans linebacker Anthony Hill Jr. was named NFL Defensive Rookie of the Month for the month of September.

Tate and Hill are the first Titans teammates to earn Rookie of the Month honors in the same season.

It was quite a month for Tate, who was selected fourth overall in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft out of Ohio State.

Tate had 21 receptions for 290 yards (13.8 average) and one touchdown in October.

From Week 4 to Week 8, Tate led all rookies in receiving yards and he had 13 receptions that went for first downs.

Tate's 13.8-yard receiving average led all rookies with a minimum of 12 receptions.

Tate tied for third among rookies with 21 receptions during the month.

Here's a look at Tate's week-by-week performances in October:

At Baltimore (10/4), he led the team with nine receptions and 145 receiving yards.  His 145 receiving yards were the most by any Titans player since A.J. Brown in 2021. Tate caught a 22-yard reception during the Titans' initial scoring drive in the first quarter. He extended the Titans' final touchdown drive with a 33-yard grab down to the Ravens' three-yard line on fourth-and-11 in the final stanza.

Against Houston (10/11), Tate caught one pass for a six-yard reception.

At Indianapolis (10/18), Tate led the team with six catches and 70 receiving yards to go along with his first career NFL touchdown. He evened the score at 13-13 with his first career touchdown on an eight-yard catch from Cam Ward in the fourth quarter. Tate extended the Titans' initial scoring drive with a 19-yard reception along the sideline in the third quarter. He also drew a 36-yard pass interference penalty during the Titans' game-winning scoring drive in the final quarter.

Against Cleveland (10/25), Tate led the team with five catches and 69 receiving yards. He extended the Titans' game-tying touchdown drive by snaring an 18-yard pass to the Browns' one-yard line on third-and-12 in the fourth quarter.

On the season, Tate leads the Titans with 413 receiving yards through eight games in 2026, despite missing the team's Week 8 contest at Cincinnati due to injury. He joined Bill Groman (553 in 1960) and Ernest Givins (485 in 1986) as the only players in franchise history with 400 receiving yards in the team's first seven games of their rookie season.
