NASHVILLE – After two games, some impressive stats have emerged for Titans rookie quarterback Cam Ward.
For starters, Ward is the first No.1 overall pick ever with zero interceptions in his first two career starts.
Ward is also the fifth QB in the last 20 seasons with 60-plus pass attempts and zero interceptions in his first two games (C.J. Stroud, Mac Jones, Carson Wentz, Dak Prescott).
Most onlookers would agree Ward has played well right out of the gate, even if his passing numbers don't necessarily show it.
Heading into Sunday's game against the Colts, Ward has completed just 50.8 percent of his passes, and his rating is just 69.5.
Ward said on Wednesday he has no interest in stats.
"I really don't care about completion percentage," Ward said. "I want to score touchdowns. I want to win football games. We're 0 and 2. We just have to continue to stick with the process.
"We just have to get a win this week in a divisional game that matters a lot and just try to get rolling."
Ward has completed 31-of-61 passes for 287 yards and a touchdown in losses to the Broncos and Rams.
He's also been sacked 11 times over the first two games of the season while being pressured on 45.3 percent of his dropbacks.
What does Ward think the Titans need to do to improve, and win?
"I think attention to detail," Ward said. "Getting in and out of the huddle fast(er) and I also think the overall urgency needs to continue to go up each week. And just emphasize scoring the football, not settling for field goals, and continuing to play together.
"At the end of the day, we have to continue to go play good football for four quarters. We can't just play good for three quarters, we need to play the whole game."
