NASHVILLE – The Titans have hired Gus Bradley as the team's new defensive coordinator.
Bradley joins Brian Daboll (offense) and John Fassel (special teams) as the team's coordinators under new head coach Robert Saleh.
Bradley is an experienced coach who will be entering his 37th year in coaching and his 21st year in the NFL, in Tennessee. With the Titans, Bradley reunites with Saleh after the duo previously served on the same staffs with the Seattle Seahawks (2011-12), Jacksonville Jaguars (2014-16) and San Francisco 49ers (2025).
A good deal of Bradley experience has come as a defensive coordinator in the NFL – he's been a DC for 12 total seasons with the Seahawks (2009-12), Los Angeles Chargers (2017-20), Las Vegas Raiders (2021) and Indianapolis Colts (2022-24).
Bradley was also a head coach with the Jaguars from 2013 to 2016.
As a member of the 49ers organization in 2025 under head coach Kyle Shanahan, Bradley was the assistant head coach of defense while Saleh was the defensive coordinator. The staff led the 49ers to a 12-5 record in the regular season and a playoff berth despite significant injuries to several players, including All-Pro defensive lineman Nick Bosa and All-Pro linebacker Fred Warner.
Prior to his NFL career, Bradley totaled 16 years as a coach in the college ranks, including 12 total seasons at his alma mater, North Dakota State (1990-91, 1996-05).
