"Michael is a big, strong, durable player," said Titans general manager Ruston Webster. "Like we have said with a number of players we added this week, he has versatility with experience playing both left and right tackle during his NFL career. We are excited to have Michael as part of the Titans family."

A five-year NFL veteran, Oher (6-4, 315) has played all five seasons for the Baltimore Ravens, starting each of the 80 possible games and five postseason starts. He has experience playing at either tackle, totaling 43 starts at right tackle and 37 at left tackle. Last season, he started all 16 games at right tackle for the Ravens; and in Baltimore's 2012 Super Bowl season, he was a 16-game starter at left tackle. The 2012 team scored the most points in franchise history (398) and posted the second-highest yardage total (5,640) in franchise history. Over the past five seasons, the Ravens offensive line has paved the way for RB Ray Rice, who ranks third in the NFL in total rushing yards (5,726) and first in total scrimmage yards (8,487) during that time period.

Oher entered the NFL as a first-round selection (23rd overall) by the Ravens in the 2009 NFL Draft. He joins Titans G Andy Levitre, free agent C Alex Mack and Rams LB James Laurinaitis as the only drafted players to start each of the 80 regular season games since 2009. As a rookie, Oher was named to the Pro Football Writers All-Rookie team and earned NFL Rookie of the Month honors for December.

A native of Memphis, Tenn., Oher played his college football at the University of Mississippi. He was a four-year starter for the Rebels, starting at guard as freshman and left tackle for the remaining three years. As a senior, he earned first team All-America honors and the SEC's Jacobs Blocking Trophy, awarded to the conference's top offensive lineman.
