Titans Agree To Terms With Draft Pick Ringer

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -** The Tennessee Titans have agreed to terms on a multi-year contract with running back Javon Ringer.

The Titans selected Ringer in the fifth round (173rd overall) of the 2009 NFL Draft out of Michigan State.  The Dayton, Ohio, native played in 45 career games with 26 starts for the Spartans and became the school's second all-time leading rusher and the Big Ten Conference's 10th all-time leading rusher with 4,398 yards.  With an additional 719 receiving yards and 309 kickoff return yards, Ringer became the school's career leader with 5,426 career all-purpose yards.  As a senior in 2008, he earned first-team Associated Press All-America honors after ranking sixth in school history in rushing yards (1,447), second in carries (390), first in touchdowns (22) and third in all-purpose yards (2,051). 

The Titans have now agreed to terms with nine of their 11 draft choices, only wide receiver Kenny Britt and defensive lineman Sen'Derrick Marks remain unsigned.  The team opens training camp on Friday, July 31st.
