Titans Add RB Jordan Wilkins, DB Rodney Clemons to Practice Squad

NASHVILLE – The Titans did some shuffling on their practice squad on Wednesday, and one of the moves was adding former Colts running back Jordan Wilkins.

Wilkins, who is from just outside Memphis, played in 49 games for the Colts from 2018-2021. Wilkins has 951 career rushing yards and four career touchdowns on 195 career carries. He also caught 35 passes for 233 yards and two touchdowns in his time with the Colts.

A fifth-round draft pick of the Colts in the 2018 NFL Draft out of Ole Miss, Wilkins (6-1, 216) played in four games for the Colts this season before being released. He was signed to the Jaguars practice squad in November, and later released. In three seasons at Ole Miss, Wilkins gained 1,751 rushing yards on 279 carries.

Also on Wednesday, the Titans signed defensive back Rodney Clemons to their practice squad while waiving running back Rodney Smith from the practice squad and placing linebacker Jamal Carter on the practice squad/Injured Reserve list.

Clemons (6-0, 205) entered the NFL as an undrafted college free agent with Kansas City following the 2020 NFL Draft. He spent his rookie season on the Chiefs practice squad. As a college player at SMU, Clemons played 54 games and totaled 203 tackles, seven interceptions, two fumble recoveries and two forced fumbles.

The Titans face the Jaguars on Sunday at Nissan Stadium.
