Titans Add 16 Players to Practice Squad

NASHVILLE – The Titans have added the final pieces to the team's 16-man practice squad.

On Wednesday, the team added receiver Cameron Batson and linebacker Malik Jefferson.

Batson, who spent the 2019 season on Injured Reserve, was waived by the team on Monday. Jefferson, who played collegiately at Texas, has spent time with the Bengals, Browns and Chargers.

Jefferson (6-2, 240) has 21 games of NFL experience with Cincinnati and Cleveland. Over his two-year career (2018-19), he has posted 11 tackles and eight special teams stops. He ended last season on the Los Angeles Chargers practice squad and was released by the Chargers during final cuts this year. Jefferson entered the NFL as a third-round selection by the Bengals in the 2018 NFL Draft. During a three-year career at the University of Texas, Jefferson totaled 233 tackles, 12 sacks, six passes defensed, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery. In his final season for the Longhorns, he earned Big 12 Co-Defensive Player of the Year honors.

On Tuesday, the team added defensive back Chris Miller, a second team All Big-12 selection his senior year at Oregon who was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Seahawks, and recently released. Miller had a career-high 76 combined tackles with two forced fumbles and two passes defended in 2019.
