NASHVILLE, Tenn. –** The Titans just wrapped up practice on Thursday at Saint Thomas Sports Park.

On Sunday, the team will face the Texans in Houston.

Three quick hits from today:

**

Hello, Friend**

Titans linebacker Kevin Dodd used to chase Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson around the practice field when the two were teammates at Clemson University.

On Sunday, they'll line up across from one another.

Dodd hopes to corral his buddy.

"It's funny," Dodd said. "You go two years without being able to touch a guy, and now you get a chance to chase him and hit him. I have joked with him on the phone already about sacking him. It's all fun and games."

On Sunday, Dodd played for the first time this season after being inactive the first two games. He played 18 snaps in the contest, and recorded a tackle.

He said he's getting more comfortable each day, and thinks he should get better with more reps.

Watson presents a challenge for the Titans on defense, he said.

"You get what you see on film," Dodd said of Watson. "We all know he can extend plays with his legs and he is a good passer. He is a very poised guy, it is no secret.

"If I could get him Sunday, it would be a dream come true."

DeMarco's mindset

Titans running back DeMarco Murray ran for 115 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's win over Seattle. He ripped off a 75-yard run.

Murray hopes the Titans can stay on a roll in the running game. Murray (184) and Derrick Henry (171) are one of two pairs of NFL teammates with 150-plus rush yards on the season.

"If we give ourselves a chance and stay above the sticks and not get penalties, and we are running the ball well in the early downs," Murray said, "I think the coaches will continue to call run plays for us. It will be a hostile environment, loud, and it's going to be a big challenge for us. But we're excited about it, and it's all about keeping your composure and giving that extra effort on the road."

Injuries

Tight end Delanie Walker (hamstring) was a full participant on Thursday's practice after missing on Wednesday.

Linebacker Erik Walden (groin) was limited.

Receiver Corey Davis (hamstring) and safety Johnathan Cyprien (hamstring) were ruled out earlier this week.
