NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Big Dance continues Thursday night with the field of 64 whittled down to the Sweet 16. At the onset of the tournament, 13 teams were represented by Titans players. Now just five schools remain alive: Kentucky, Notre Dame, North Carolina, Oklahoma and Louisville.
In the Midwest Region if Kentucky (Avery Williamson, Wesley Woodyard) beats West Virginia and Notre Dame (Anthony Fasano) tops Wichita State, the Wildcats and Fighting Irish will meet in the Elite Eight.
There's a similar situation in the East Region. If Louisville (Harry Douglas) beats N.C. State and Oklahoma (Gabe Ikard) overcomes Michigan State, the Cardinals and Sooners will also meet in the Elite Eight.
