Quick Hits on the Titans From Friday of Bills Week

NASHVILLE – The Titans returned to the practice field on Friday at Ascension Saint Thomas Sports Park to continue preparations for Monday's game against the Buffalo Bills.

Here's a look at some Titans topics in quick-hitting fashion:

-Caleb Farley will never forget his first Monday Night Football game.

It came last year, against the Buffalo Bills.

Unfortunately, it ended with Farley leaving the field with a torn ACL.

Now the second-year defensive back is preparing for another MNF game vs the Bills, and he hopes it leaves a better memory behind.

"I am excited just to go out there and get a second shot at it," Farley said on Friday. "This game last year was the game I got injured, on a Monday night, as ironic as that is. So I am just excited to be able to get back out there and get another shot at it.

"(A year later) I feel good, I am confident. And I am just ready to go out there and cut it loose and play and make plays to help us get this win."

Farley played 17 snaps on defense in the opener against the Giants, in addition to 15 more snaps on special teams. Farley was credited with a tackle against the Giants.

Farley said he's ready to do more, when asked.

"I just do whatever they ask me to do to the best of my ability," Farley said. "I feel like if I take care of that, I try and earn a bigger role and everything should take care of itself.

"I am definitely motivated and ready to show it on Monday. I am ready to go out there and have a good game and go out there to compete."

-Receiver Kyle Philips was back on the practice field on Friday, decked out in a yellow non-contact jersey. Philips is listed on the Injury Report with a shoulder injury. He was limited in Friday's session.

-Running back Dontrell Hilliard did not practice again on Friday. He's listed on the Injury Report with a hamstring injury.

-Defensive back Kristian Fulton did not practice again on Friday. He's listed on the Injury Report with a hamstring injury.

-Left tackle Taylor Lewan (knee) practiced in full on Friday after being listed as limited in Thursday's practice.

-Center Ben Jones (not injury related) practiced in full on Friday after being listed as limited in Thursday's practice.

-Guard Nate Davis (knee) did not practice on Friday.

-Defensive back Lonnie Johnson (groin), who was inactive for the opener, was back at practice field again on Friday. Johnson was a full participant again on Friday.

-Offensive lineman Jamarco Jones (elbow), who was inactive for the opener, was limited in Thursday's practice. Jones did not practice on Friday.

-Titans OLB Adeniyi (neck) practiced in a yellow non-contact jersey on Friday for the second day in a row. He was listed as limited on Friday's Injury Report.

-Titans offensive lineman Dillon Radunz (neck) practiced in a yellow non-contact jersey for the second day on a row. He was listed as limited on the Injury Report again on Friday.

-Tight end Thomas Odukoya, with the team on the NFL International Allocation, was not spotted at Friday's practice.

-I did a separate story on Titans running back Derrick Henry after his media availability today. CLICK HERE to read it.

And here's a clip of Henry from today:

-On Friday, the Titans promoted defensive back Chris Jackson from the practice squad to the team's 53-man roster.

The Titans also signed OLB/DE Takkarist (Takk) McKinley to the team's practice squad.

McKinley (6-2, 260) played from 2017-2020 with the Falcons before spending time with the Raiders and Browns. In his NFL career, McKinley has played in 60 career games, with 27 starts, and has been credited with 97 tackles, 20 sacks, 25 tackles for a loss and three forced fumbles.

Here's a quick clip of McKinley in today's practice:

-The Bills released their second Injury Report on Friday, and it looked like this: CB Dane Jackson (knee), DT Ed Oliver (ankle), DT Tim Settle (calf) did not practice for the second day in a row. OL Tommy Doyle (foot) and TE Quintin Morris (hamstring) were full participants for the second day in a row. The Bills held a walk-through on Friday, so today's work is an estimation.

-The Titans are scheduled to practice again on Saturday before traveling to Buffalo on Sunday for Monday's game vs the Bills.
