Game Notes

KICKOFF TEMP: The official temperature for the game was 24 degrees, the coldest game played by the Titans since a 19-degree day at Kansas City on Dec. 26, 2010.

LOCKER POSTS 10TH TOUCHDOWN PASS OF SEASON: Late in the fourth quarter, Jake Locker completed his 10th touchdown pass of the season, finding Kenny Britt in the end zone on a two-yard pass.  It gave the second-year quarterback 14 career touchdown passes and at least one in eight of his 10 career starts.

BRITT SCORES: Kenny Britt scored his fourth touchdown of the season and his 19th career touchdown on a two-yard pass from Jake Locker in the fourth quarter.  He is tied for the team lead in touchdown receptions this season, along with Kendall Wright, Nate Washington and Jared Cook.

BRITT SETS CAREER HIGH FOR A SEASON: With two receptions for 41 yards at Green Bay, Kenny Britt moved his season reception total to 43, setting a new career high.  He posted 42 catches in both 2009 and 2010.

WASHINGTON REACHES 3,000 WITH THE TITANS: Wide receiver Nate Washington's eight-yard reception in the fourth quarter put him over the 3,000-yard mark in a Titans uniform.  He became the 13th player in franchise history to reach 3,000 career receiving yards with the club.

WASHINGTON EXTENDS STREAK: In the third quarter, wide receiver Nate Washington extended his streak of consecutive games with at least one reception to 77, including all 63 games he has played with the Titans.

MARTIN SACK: In the first quarter, rookie defensive tackle Mike Martin recorded his third sack of the season, taking down Aaron Rodgers for an eight-yard loss on third down.

SURPRISE START FOR STINGILY: Second-year player Byron Stingily received his first career start against the Packers, filling in for Mike Otto.  Otto, who himself was a replacement for David Stewart (injured reserve), was unexpectedly added to the inactive list due to an illness.  A sixth-round pick in 2011, Stingily was inactive for all 16 contests as a rookie and appeared in three games as a reserve in 2012 before starting at Green Bay.

PETRUS STARTS: Due to Kevin Matthews' ankle injury, Mitch Petrus started for the first time as a member of the Titans and for the fourth time in his three-year career.  Petrus started at left guard, and Fernando Velasco started at center, where Matthews played before his injury.  Petrus arrived in Tennessee off waivers from the New England Patriots in Dec. 5.  Prior to his arrival, he appeared in 25 games with starts with the Patriots and New York Giants.

TITANS INACTIVES: The Titans' seven inactives in the game were quarterback Rusty Smith, wide receiver Kendall Wright, cornerback Ryan Mouton, linebacker Colin McCarthy, center Kevin Matthews, tackle Mike Otto and defensive end Scott Solomon.
