Croyle says he'll be ready to start against Titans

The designated quarterback of the future, Croyle's shoulder was hurt in the first quarter against New England on Sept. 7.

Since then, the Chiefs have started both Damon Huard and Tyler Thigpen and gone 1-4, including a horrific 34-0 loss on Sunday at Carolina.

Coaches have been coy about who would start once Croyle was ready. But Croyle said Monday that he expects to get the nod.

The Chiefs have a bye this week.
