You never prepare for this. You're always worrying about the game that you are in. You're worried about the next game. And when you don't have something to prepare for now, it's hard. Because at last year's end, I'm like, 'I'm trying to win a championship.' And my mindset every day is like, 'What does it take to win?' And when you fall short it hurts, because that's the only thing that mattered to me. Every day was a process of getting there. We fell short today and it hurts.
(on the offensive turnovers hurting the team today)
Playoff football, turnover margins hurt. It sucks. We were in situations where we have to be better as a whole offense. We have to execute better and we can't make those kinds of mistakes in these kind of games.
(on when the offense tied the score and it seemed momentum had swung in their favor)
We were playing complementary football. Our defense played well and got us the ball when we needed it, got us back on track, and we didn't capitalize when we needed to down the road.
(on the last offensive drive)
I'm going out there and trying to execute each play, whatever play. That's the head man's job to manage the games and put us in the best situation to win. He's done a helluva job all year and we trust (Coach) Vrabel and Todd (Downing) to make those calls for us. We just have to go out and execute and we came up short and put our defense in a bad situation.
(on if this was the healthiest the offensive line has felt in a while)
Yeah, we had everybody back. We had a week off. It was the way wanted it, and we were ready to make a run. Our bodies were feeling good and it sucks. It sucks it ended this way.
(on how frustrating this loss is considering all the injuries that were overcome all season)
I want to be out there every play. That's my mindset. If I can step on that field, I'm going to play. I love every guy on this team and we fell short today. Losing is hard because you can't come back and fix it next week. That's why when you lose during the season you want a quick turnaround, you want the game to be on Thursday, and you don't want to think about it. Now, we have to think about this for the whole offseason and it hurts.

For me, I'm trying to win. I'm trying to win a championship. That's why I play this game and anything short is not where I want to be. That's what hurts, because you can only play this game for so long, and I want to win.
