NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Coming off a bye weekend, the Titans face a critical five-game stretch of their schedule to get to the season's halfway point.

Three home games, beginning with Sunday's contest against the Buffalo Bills. Then the Titans hit the road for back-to-back road games.

Right now, the AFC South is wide open. It's a big stretch, as the Colts head into a really tough part of their schedule.

Here's a look at what's on the horizon for the teams in the division:

Combined record for next five opponents:13-6.

Titans (1-2): vs. Bills (2-2), vs. Dolphins (1-3), vs. Falcons (4-0), at Texans (1-3), at Saints (1-3).

Combined record of next five opponents: 9-11

Texans (1-3): Colts (2-2), at Jaguars (1-3), at Dolphins (1-3), vs. Titans (1-2), at Bengals (4-0).

Combined record of next five opponents: 9-10.

Jaguars (1-3): at Buccaneers (1-3), Texans (1-3), Bills (2-2), at Jets (3-1), at Ravens (1-3).

Combined record of next five opponents:8-12.

"It's still early,'' Titans coach Ken Whisenhunt said. "We certainly feel like we can compete. If we take care of our business, it will work itself out. We feel like we're a team where if we can eliminate a few of our mistakes and a few of our things that we really haven't done well, that we're really close to being a good football team."
