Biography
PRO: The Titans signed Truman Jones off the New England Patriots' practice squad in the middle of the 2025 regular season to add depth to the outside linebacker corps. The 6-foot-3-inch, 255-pounder spent his entire rookie campaign and most of the 2024 season on the Kansas City Chiefs' practice squad before joining the New England Patriots. Â The Harvard product saw action in two games with the Patriots and registered a pair of tackles.

âą Â Â In 2022, Jones was awarded the Bulger Lowe Award, given to the best defensive player in New England. Â The Bulger Lowe is the nation's second-oldest award in college football, after only the Heisman Trophy.
âą Â Â Jones was a decorated lacrosse player in high school, earning All-American and All-State honors, while leading Westminister to the 3A State championship.

âą Â Â As a senior (2022), served as the 148th team captain in Harvard football history. Â Was a unanimous first team All-Ivy League after playing in all 10 games and leading the team with 13 tackles for loss (T-1st in Ivy), six sacks, six quarterback hurries and three blocked kicks. Â Finished the campaign with 40 tackles and one forced fumble. Â Earned Phil Steele Ivy League Defensive Player of the Year honors.
âą Â Â As a junior (2021), played in all 10 games and recorded 25 tackles, 4.5 stops for loss, two sacks, a team-high six quarterback hurries, two pass breakups and a fumble recovery.
âą Â Â Did not play in 2020, as Ivy League competition halted amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
âą Â Â As a sophomore (2019), appeared in seven games and tallied 23 tackles, to go along with 13 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks, a pass defensed, two forced fumbles and a blocked kick.

âą Â Â Attended The Westminster Schools (Atlanta, Ga.) and was a three-year starter and one-year captain on the football team.
âą Â Â Elected to the All-Metro and All-State 3A teams and helped lead the football team to the 2015 3A State championship.
âą Â Â Was a three-year starter, two-year captain for lacrosse team. Â Named an All-American and all-state in 2017. Â Helped lead the lacrosse squad to the 2017 lacrosse 3A State championship.
âą Â Â Served as a National Honor Society member in 2017.
