Peter Skoronski

PRO: The Titans selected Northwestern's Peter Skoronski with the 11th overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. The 6-foot-4-inch, 313-pound offensive lineman brings outstanding technique, athleticism and physicality to his position. While he was a three-year starter at left tackle, he possessed the versatility to make the move inside to guard, where he started 14 games as a rookie and all 17 games during his second NFL season. A native of Park Ridge, Ill., Skoronski did not miss a game or a start in his three seasons at Northwestern, appearing in 33 contests at left tackle.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:
• In 2022, Skoronski's third and final season at Northwestern, he became the first unanimous first-team All-American in program history after starting all 12 games at left tackle.

• His grandfather, Bob Skoronski, was a left tackle for the Green Bay Packers, playing nine total seasons with the franchise. He missed two seasons while serving in the U.S. Air Force. He was a permanent offensive captain for the Packers under Vince Lombardi from 1964 to 1968 and played on five NFL championship teams. In 1976, he was inducted into the Packers Hall of Fame.
• Among all offensive linemen at the 2023 NFL Scouting Combine, Skoronski placed second in the vertical jump (34.50 inches), second in the broad jump (9 feet 7 inches), fifth in the bench press (30 reps) and ninth in the 10-yard split (1.75 seconds).

COLLEGE:
• Skoronski started all 33 games at left tackle during his career at Northwestern without missing a game. He earned second-team All-Big Ten honors as a freshman and first-team recognition in each of the next two seasons. He became the first offensive lineman in program history to earn two All-Big Ten first-team awards. He became Northwestern's highest draft selection since guard Chris Hinton went to Denver with the fourth pick in 1983, and he was the 11th player in program history to be picked in the first round.
• As a junior (2022), named the Rimington-Pace Big Ten Offensive Lineman of the Year—the first ever by a Northwestern lineman—after starting all 12 games at left tackle. He was the first player in school history to become a unanimous first-team All-American and was named first-team All-Big Ten by coaches and media. He finished as a finalist for the 2022 Outland Trophy, recognizing nation's best college interior lineman on both offense and defense. He finished the season with PFF's highest pass-blocking grade in the country at 93.0 after allowing six pressures on 480 pass-blocking snaps. His 79.1 PFF run-blocking grade placed fifth among all qualifying Power 5 tackles.
• As a sophomore (2021), started all 12 games at left tackle and helped pave the way for Evan Hull's 1,000-yard rushing season. He was named first-team All-Big Ten by the league's coaches and second-team All-Big Ten by the media.
• As a true freshman (2020), started all nine contests during a COVID-19 shortened campaign and anchored the left side of a line that helped the Wildcats make a 2020 Big Ten Championship Game appearance. He was named second-team All-Big Ten. Additionally, he earned True Freshman All-American recognition by 247Sports as the highest-graded true first-year performer in the Big Ten among all positions. He helped pave the way for 16 rushing touchdowns and a 162.8 rushing yards per game average and helped the offensive line allow only 1.29 sacks per game in the Big Ten regular season, the third fewest in the conference.

PERSONAL:
• Attended Maine South (Park Ridge, Ill.) High School, where he was a four-star prospect, the No. 4 center nationally and the No. 2 player in Illinois, according to 247Sports. He was a three-year letter winner and 2019 team captain who recorded 173 pancakes in three seasons with the Hawks.
• Earned All-State honors in 2018 and 2019 and was a three-time All-Conference and All-Area selection.
• Led Maine South to back-to-back-to-back CSL conference championships and was a member of the 2016 state champion team.
• Lettered three times in basketball and three times in track and field (shot put and discus) and was a National Honor Society member.
