Biography

PRO: The Titans selected Kevin Winston Jr. in the third round of the 2025 NFL Draft. The 6-foot-2-inch, 213-pounder is an athletic defensive back that prides himself on his physical play style and unmatched work ethic. Winston enters the NFL after playing three seasons at Penn State and amassing 90 tackles, an interception, 3.5 stops for loss, a forced fumble and five passes defensed.

• Winston Jr. went to high school with both of former Titans safety Kevin Byard's younger brothers.

CAREER TRANSACTIONS:
• The Cheverly, Md., native was selected by the Titans in the third round (82nd overall) of the 2025 NFL Draft.

COLLEGE:
• Played in 28 games with 15 starts over parts of three seasons at Penn State (2022-24) and recorded 90 total tackles, an interception, 3.5 stops for loss, a forced fumble and five passes defensed. Only played in three contests as a junior after suffering a season-ending injury.

AS A JUNIOR (2024), played in three games with two starts and amassed 13 tackles with a forced fumble before suffering a season-ending injury.
• At West Virginia (8/31), tallied a season-best 12 tackles with a forced fumble.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2023), started all 13 games at safety and posted a team-high 61 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, two fumble recoveries, an interception and five pass breakups.

• Against Michigan (11/11), posted a career-high 12 tackles to go along with a half stop for loss.

• Attended DeMatha (Hyattsville, Md.) Catholic High School and was a four-year letterwinner, two-time team captain and two-time team MVP.
• As a senior (2021), named the All-Met State Defensive Player of the Year and a first-team All-WCAC selection. Tallied 50 tackles, three interceptions, 10 pass breakups and a fumble recovery for a touchdown. Added two field goal blocks and five touchdowns..
