Biography
PRO: The Titans signed Jermar Jefferson during 2025 training camp to bring competiton to the running back rotation. The 5-foot-10-inch, 215-pounder has appeared in nine games since being selected in the seventh round of the 2021 NFL Draft by the Detroit Lions. He played in seven games as a rookie in 2021 and gained 74 yards on 15 carries with two touchdowns. The Los Angeles, Calif., native played three seasons at Oregon State (2018-20) and finished his collegiate career with 2,923 rushing yards, the fifth-highest figure in program history.

• The Los Angeles, Calif., native was selected by the Detroit Lions in the seventh round (257th overall) of the 2021 NFL Draft.

COLLEGE:
• Appeared in 27 games over three seasons (2018-20) at Oregon State. Carried the ball 514 yards for 2,923 yards and 27 touchdowns for the Beavers. Finished with the fifth-highest marks in rushing yards and touchdowns in school history. Added 299 yards on 43 receptions with two touchdowns.
• As a junior (2020), started six games, racking up 858 yards on 133 carries with seven touchdowns. Named Co-Pac Offensive Player of the Year by Associated Press and first-team All-Pac-12. Posted 226 yards on 29 attempts against Oregon.
• As a sophomore (2019), played in nine games with six starts and recorded 685 yards on 142 carries. Notched eight touchdowns on the ground. Added 85 yards and two touchdowns on nine catches.
• As a freshman (2018), appeared in 12 games with nine starts. Named Freshman All-American by The Athletic, ESPN, and USA Today after posting 1,380 yards on 239 totes. Scored 12 rushing touchdowns including two apiece versus Southern Utah and Washington State. Also named Pac-12 Freshman Offensive Player of the Year and All-Pac-12 honorable mention. His 238 yards against Southern Utah was the fourth-best mark in school history.
PERSONAL:
• Attended Narbonne (Calif.) High School as a senior after moving from Redondo Union (Calif.) High School. Rated a three-star recruit by 247Sports and Rivals. In 2017, rushed for 1,861 yards and 34 touchdowns on 205 carries, averaging 9.1 yards per attempt.
