Biography

PRO: The Titans claimed Dorian Mausi off waivers from the Minnesota Vikings during final roster cutdowns prior to the 2025 campaign. The 6-foot-1-inch linebacker is a rangy and athletic player who will look to use his sound tackling ability to find a role on Titans special teams and in the linebacker corps. Mausi played four years at Duke (2020-23) before transferring to Auburn for his final collegiate season.

TITANS TIDBITS:
• Mausi credits the Sound Mind Sound Body Foundation in Detroit for helping him achieve all his athletic goals. SMSB uses sports as a vehicle to connect with students to learn that equal amounts of energy must be applied to both books and ball. The program is dedicated to reducing high school dropout rates while increasing college readiness and scholarship obtainment among students through extracurricular activities.
• As a rising high school senior, Mausi was a lightly recruited player before winning the linebackers MVP at The Opening Regional in Charlotte, N.C. Zero Power Five offers quickly turned into many and Mausi chose to attend Duke University.

CAREER TRANSACTIONS:
• The Detroit, Mich., native was originally signed by the Minnesota Vikings as a rookie free agent on April 26, 2025.
• Waived by the Vikings on Aug. 26, 2025.
• Claimed off waivers by the Titans on Aug. 27, 2025.

COLLEGE:
• Played four seasons at Duke (2020-23) before transferring to Auburn for his final season of college football in 2024.
• As a graduate (2024), finished his lone season at Auburn with a team-leading 81 tackles to go along with 9.5 tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks.
• In 44 career games at Duke, posted 193 tackles, including 8.5 for loss, 2.5 sacks, an interception, three passes defensed and a forced fumble.
• As a senior (2023), saw action in 10 games with seven starts and recorded 61 tackles, including 3.5 for stops for loss, a half sack, an interception and a pass defensed.
• As a junior (2022), played in 11 games with six starts and totaled 44 tackles, including a stop for loss and a pass defensed.
• As a sophomore (2021), started 11 of 12 games at linebacker and collected 59 tackles, including two stops for loss, a half sack, a pass defensed and a forced fumble.
• As a true freshman (2020), appeared in all 11 games with three starts at linebacker and compiled 29 tackles, including two stops for loss and 1.5 sacks.
• Graduated from Duke in May of 2024 with a degree in psychology, a minor in sociology and a certificate in innovation and entrepreneurship.
