Biography
PRO: The Titans signed Cor'Dale Flott early in the 2026 free agency period to add physicality and grit to the secondary. The 6-foot-2-inch, 175-pound cornerback prides himself on being a technician and never backing down from an opponent. Flott was selected by the N.Y. Giants in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft and saw action in 53 games with 37 starts with the club. Prior to his arrival in Tennessee, the Louisiana State product totaled 152 tackles, three interceptions, three forced fumbles and 25 passes defensed in his first four NFL campaigns.
CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:
• In 2025, Flott started 14 games for the Giants and tallied 38 tackles, one interception, a career-best 11 passes defended and a forced fumble. Per NextGenStats, Flott allowed a 42.9 completion percentage as the field-side cornerback, the fourth-lowest among players targeted at least 20 times from such alignment.
TITANS TIDBITS:
• Flott is familiar with the Nashville area. His wife, Lauren, worked for an insurance company in the city a few years ago, and he came to town to train for a few months in the offseason.
CAREER TRANSACTIONS:
• The Saraland, Ala., native was selected by the N.Y. Giants in the third round (81st overall) of the 2022 NFL Draft.
• Signed by the Titans as an unrestricted free agent on March 12, 2026.
SEASON RECAPS:
2025 (14/14 - N.Y. Giants): Started a career-best 14 games at cornerback and contributed 38 tackles, an interception, a career-high 11 passes defensed, three stops for loss and a forced fumble. Was inactive for two contests. Placed on injured reserve on Jan. 3, 2026 and missed the regular season finale.
• Against Philadelphia (10/9), started at cornerback and recorded three tackles with an interception. Intercepted a Jalen Hurts pass intended for Jahan Dotson in the fourth quarter and returned it 68 yards to the Eagles' 23-yard line setting up a Giants' touchdown.
• At Denver (10/19), notched four tackles, including a stop for loss and two passes defensed.
2024 (14/10 - N.Y. Giants): Played in 14 games with a then career-high 10 starts and tallied a career-high 53 tackles to go along with an interception, seven passes defensed and two tackles for loss. Was inactive for two games and did not play in another contest.
• At Cleveland (9/22), posted a career-high 10 tackles with a stop for loss.
• At Dallas (11/28), started at cornerback and registered five tackles while tying a season-best with two passes defensed.
• At Atlanta (12/22), amassed three tackles with an interception. Picked off a Michael Penix Jr. pass intended for Kyle Pitts and returned it 26 yards late in the first half.
2023 (14/7 - N.Y. Giants): Played in 14 games with seven starts and recorded 36 tackles, an interception, five passes defensed and a forced fumble. Was inactive for two contests and did not play in another game.
• Against Washington (10/22), started at cornerback and tied a season-high with six tackles.
• Against N.Y. Jets (10/29), collected a tackle and a season-best two passes defensed.
• At Dallas (11/12), started at cornerback and registered two tackles with an interception. Picked off a Dak Prescott pass for his first career NFL interception.
2022 (11/6, 2/0 - N.Y. Giants): Saw action in 11 regular season games with six starts at cornerback as a rookie and totaled 25 tackles, a forced fumble and two passes defensed. Registered a special teams tackle on coverage units. Was inactive for six contests. Played as a reserve in both Giants' postseason games and registered a pass defensed.
• At Tennessee (9/11), made his NFL debut as a reserve.
• Against Carolina (9/18), made his first career start at cornerback and collected a tackle.
• Against Detroit (11/20), notched two tackles and forced a D'Andre Swift fumble that was recovered by the Lions. Posted a special teams tackle.
• At Dallas (11/24), started at cornerback and collected a season-best five tackles.
COLLEGE:
• Played in 35 games with 21 starts at cornerback in three seasons at Louisiana State and collected 99 tackles, 5.5 stops for loss, 12 passes defensed, an interception and two forced fumbles. Saw action as an outside cornerback, as a nickelback and at safety during his collegiate career. Opted to forgo senior season and entered the 2022 NFL Draft.
• As a junior (2021), played in 11 games with 10 starts and finished the season with 41 tackles, an interception and four passes defensed.
• As a sophomore (2020), started all 10 games and recorded a career-best 43 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, four passes defensed and a forced fumble.
• As a true freshman (2019), played in 14 games with one start for a Tigers team that won the national championship. Posted 15 tackles and four passes defensed.
PERSONAL:
• Attended Saraland (Ala.) High School and was a three-year starter as a cornerback and wide receiver.
• As a senior (2018), played wide receiver and cornerback and helped his team compile a 13-2 record and advance to the Alabama Class 6A State Championship Game. Recorded 31 tackles, three forced fumbles and six passes defensed with an interception. Added 180 yards and two touchdowns on 12 carries and 28 receptions for 502 yards with a score.
• Was invited to play in the Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Game.
• As a junior (2017), compiled 54 tackles and 20 pass breakups with two interceptions.
• Has a sister and an older brother, Wydale, who was a cornerback at Southern Mississippi.
