Dylan Autenrieth

Defensive Quality Control

Biography

Dylan Autenrieth joined the NFL coaching ranks in 2025 after being hired by the Titans as a defensive quality control coach.

Prior to arriving with the Titans, Autenrieth was working in Nashville at Vanderbilt University, where he was most recently the assistant offensive line coach. He originally joined the Commodores staff in 2022 as a graduate assistant, working with the offensive line.

In 2024, Autenrieth partnered with offensive line coach Chris Klenakis to rebuild the Vanderbilt line and help the team produce its first winning season and bowl win in over a decade. Implementing a new scheme, the Commodores blended three returners with three veteran transfers to produce results that produced significant offensive improvement. The line blocked for Diego Pavia as he set school records for rushing yards by a quarterback (801) and fewest interceptions (four). The Vandy offense finished third nationally in red-zone scoring percentage (93.3 percent), 25th in tackles for loss allowed (4.46 per game) and 28th in third-down conversions (44.4 percent).

Autenrieth was hired by Vanderbilt following one year as a graduate assistant at Colorado State (2021), where he worked with the offensive line and tight ends. In his time with the Rams, he helped mentor a Mackey Award finalist, tight end Trey McBride, and a pair of honorable mention all-conference offensive linemen (Cam Reddy and Barry Wesley). He got his start in coaching as an offensive analyst at North Carolina State, his alma mater, in 2020.

The Dallas, Georgia, native played for North Carolina State from 2016 to 2020. The two-time team captain played in 27 career games as a tight end. He was a top-100 signee out of North Paulding (Dallas, Ga.) High School.

Autenrieth graduated from North Carolina State in 2019 with a degree in sport management.
