How tough is it on a day like today where you fall behind early, and the defense knows you're going to be a little bit more one dimensional? How difficult can that be?
"Yeah, I mean, I think that that's a strength of the Colts, right? Like they've had leads all season. They have a really good running game, and it's tough to get behind on them. But at the same time, we had opportunities down the stretch. We've just got to be able to clean up offensively and as a team."
That relationship with you and Cam Ward seems to be developing. Is there extra work you guys are doing after practice or within the building, or what is behind that?
"I think just always going in and watching film (and) understanding what he sees. But at the end of the day, we didn't get the win. We've just got to keep getting better. At the end of the day, our job is to win football games for the Tennessee Titans. So, if we're not doing that, we've got to figure out ways to keep getting better and improving."
Are you able to appreciate the positive moments in games where things don't end up going so well?
"Yeah, I think you always have to take the good. But I think that also leads to you can't be complacent. We're not playing good enough football right now to win games at a consistent enough level. So, it's on us to be able to look ourselves in the mirror and be able to look at like, 'What can I do better?' I didn't play perfect game today. Nobody did. So, there are ways that we can improve to help the team."
What's keeping you going personally, even with the losses?
"My teammates. First off, I see the work that we put in. This is the opportunity to represent the community of Nashville with the Titans. This is what I've dreamed of my whole life. So, regardless of what's happening, it's my job to go in the building, have positive energy and stick to the process."
