NASHVILLE – We're now into the long stretch before training camp.

The Titans are scheduled to report in late July, which means we have some time to wait before players are back on the field.

But there's no waiting for another mailbag.

It's here…

Aevorie Moss from Clarskville, Tennessee
Question:
Hey Jim! I have 2 questions:
1. Who at this current state is the Titans 3rd best WR?
2. Release one keep one. Kevin Byard or Harold Landry?

Jim: Hey Aevorie. Man, this is a tough one. Because I'm going to be forced to do some projecting. But I'll do it. Right now, I'll say Robert Woods and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine as the top two, with Treylon Burks as the 3. I haven't seen Burks do much this offseason, though, so I know he doesn't deserve to be there yet. With Woods and Burks limited, Josh Malone has been one of the top 3 this offseason. … I'm keeping both Byard and Landry.

Timothy Dye from Memphis, Tennessee
Question:
Hey Mr. Jim! First, I'd like to thank you for your patience with all of us fans. You seem to get a range of inquiries with each mailbag and yet you remain poised and professional. This is my first time writing in and I know you've addressed potential free agency acquisitions regarding WR's and IOL. With you being so close to minicamp and offseason workouts, I was curious whether you personally think the team/front office will prioritize a free agent with a higher skill set but lengthy injury history over a free agent with lower impact potential but a more durable/reliable history. Thank you!

Jim: Appreciate it, Timothy. This is an interesting question. Because the team just signed a guy in Woods, who is coming off an ACL. A lot of folks are interested in Will Fuller, but I'd be wary there because of his injury history. I think the GM will continue to pick his spots.

Tommy Henley from Cookeville, Tennessee
Question:
Hey Jim always thankful for letting us fans know what's going on with our team, but my question is about Kyle Phillips this kid really seems like he's gonna be a good, and I no it's early yet, but do you think he has a good chance to make the 53-man roster as a rookie? I've seen and heard some many good things about him love for him to come and kinda be the next generation of a Julian Edelman.

Jim: Hey Tommy. I do think Philips is going to make the 53-man roster. He's a talented guy with potential. The biggest question for me is if he'll be able to carve out a role in the offense as a rookie. I know he's going to be given a chance to win the job as a returner.

Luke Roberts from Hertfordshire, United Kingdom
Question:
Hi Jim. Thanks for all the work you do for the fans! It's great to be able to interact from across the pond.
I was wondering what you could tell us about Ryan Stonehouse? By the looks of it he was a great punter in college and slightly surprising he wasn't drafted. Do you think it is a possibility the reliable Brett Kern loses the battle to a new face?
If not do you think its likely we cut Stonehouse? Hopefully not because it's always nice to have a good reserve specialist.

Jim: Ryan Stackhouse has a booming leg. I've seen it in practices. I don't think he's going to beat out Kern for the job in 2022. But it's not going to surprise me if he earns a spot on the practice squad and he's here competing for the job in 2023.

Joanna Simonton from Covington, Tennessee
Question:
Jim. We're waiting on news of open practice events for Titan's fans. Do you have any information? Last year's event at Nissan Stadium in August was GREAT!!

Jim: Hi Joanna. I feel like I'm being a real downer in here. … I don't think there's going to be a practice at the stadium. A lot of other events are scheduled at Nissan Stadium and it sounds like the scheduling conflicts are going to make it difficult.

Caden Hardy from Obion, Tennessee
Question:
Howdy Jim. With the way our offense played last year and how the team struggled passing, how do you think we are going to play this season? Will we give Henry the ball continuously or should we trust Tannehill or Willis to throw?

Jim: Hey Caden. It's TBD, really – the balance of the offense part, at least. But let's keep expectations in check: When the Titans are throwing it, Tannehill's going to be the one doing it.

Karim Labib from Bethesda, Maryland
Question:
Any chance we'll get a Tim Kelly presser/media availability this off-season/season?

Jim: Hey Karim. I'm not necessarily counting on it. Jim Schwartz hasn't held a presser since being hired, and Vrabel has compared Kelly's role on offense to the one Schwartz has on defense.

Have a great week everyone!
