NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Tight end Delanie Walker continues to play at a high level, and the team wants to keep him around.

On Friday, the Titans and Walker agreed to a contract extension.

Walker, headed into his 13th NFL season, has played in three straight Pro Bowls. He was also the organization's Community Man of the Year in 2013 and 2015.

Earlier this week, Walker said he's fired up heading into Year 13 – and his sixth year with the Titans.

And at the age of 33, he said he feels great. Walker's contract was previously set to expire following the 2018 season. He received a two-year extension that keeps him under contract through 2020.

"I always feel like a kid," Walker said. "Even though they shut Toys "R" Us down, I am still a Toys "R" Us kid. I play football, I play a kid's sport. So I don't think I'll ever change. I'll be this way forever.

"… Year 13 – it knocks on the door. It is right here. I am always excited, and we have some good things going on with the Titans. I am ready to hit the ground running. … I am just thankful to be in (the game) as long as I have been and being able to play with the Titans. I am blessed."

Walker was named to his third straight Pro Bowl in 2017 after he led the team with 74 receptions for 807 yards and three touchdowns. He was named Offensive MVP of the Pro Bowl after catching two touchdowns in the game, including an 18-yard, game-winning score in the fourth quarter.

In 12 seasons, Walker has caught 479 passes for 5,621 yards and 34 touchdowns. He played his first seven seasons with the San Francisco 49ers before signing with the Titans prior to the 2013 season.

Walker's goal heading into this season?

"To be better than what I was last year, that's always one of my goals, and to help this team win," Walker said earlier this offseason. "That's something I always focus on. I'm my own worst critic. I feel like last year wasn't my best year, so I want to be better than what I was last year."
