201211-newhouse

NASHVILLE – The Titans have signed offensive lineman Marshall Newhouse to the team's 53-man roster.

The Titans signed Newhouse to the team's practice squad on November 27, and he's been practicing with the team ever since.

Newhouse was available for last Sunday's game against the Browns as a gameday promotion, but he did not play.

Newhouse (6-4, 330) is a veteran of 10 NFL seasons, logging 129 games played and 81 starts. Last season he played 15 games, including nine starts (8 at left tackle/1 at right tackle) for the New England Patriots. Prior to joining the Patriots, Newhouse registered games with Green Bay (2011-12), Cincinnati (2014), New York Giants (2015-16), Oakland (2017), Buffalo (2018) and Carolina (2018). Over his NFL career, he has tallied time at both tackle spots and guard. He entered the NFL as a fifth-round selection by the Packers in the 2010 Draft from TCU, where he was a three-year starter at left tackle.

The Titans face the Jaguars on Sunday in Jacksonville.
