NASHVILLE – The Titans have signed defensive end Malik Herring.
Herring, who played in college at Georgia, has spent the past five seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs.
The 6-foot-3, 275-pound Herring played in 28 games, with one start, after joining the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent in the 2021 NFL Draft. He's been a part of two Super Bowl-winning teams.
Herring has tallied 28 tackles, three tackles for a loss, six quarterback hits and one pass defensed in his NFL career. He played in a career-high 12 games in 2024, but in just two games in 2025, when he spent a good part of the season on Kansas City's practice squad. Herring was sidelined for the entirety of the 2021 season because of an ACL injury he suffered in Senior Bowl practices in January 2021.
Titans General Manager Mike Borgonzi worked in the front office in Kansas City when the Chiefs first acquired Herring, and he watched him work during his time in Kansas City.
