Titans Sign Safety Tony Adams

Adams-FA-Signed

NASHVILLE – The Titans have signed safety Tony Adams.

Adams spent the last four seasons with the New York Jets, where he was a starter for three seasons.

The move reunites Adams and Titans coach Robert Saleh, who served as head coach of the Jets.

The 5-foot-11, 203-pound Adams has played in 53 career games, with 36 starts, and he's tallied 232 tackles, four interceptions, 16 passes defensed and 11 tackles for a loss.

Adams played in 12 games last season, with nine starts, and he recorded 49 tackles, five passes defensed, one sack and three tackles for a loss. Adams played in 15 games in both 2023 and 2024 with the Jets, and he recorded three of his interceptions during the 2023 season.

Adams played in college at Illinois, and he entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent in 2022.
