NASHVILLE – The Titans have signed two players to help with depth at key positions.
On Wednesday, the team signed defensive back Greg Mabin to the team's active roster. Mabin, who previously spent time with the Titans, had been on the practice squad of the Arizona Cardinals.
The Titans also signed offensive lineman Bobby Hart to the team's active roster. Hart had been on the practice squad of the Buffalo Bills.
Lastly, the Titans on Wednesday moved center/guard Daniel Munyer and defensive lineman Larrell Murchison to the team's "Designated for Return from Injured Reserve" list.
This designation opens up a 21-day window for Munyer and Murchison to practice with the team, and they will not count against the team's 53-man roster until being activated from Injured Reserve.
Mabin rejoins the Titans after the team placed cornerbacks Kristian Fulton and Caleb Farley on Injured Reserve within the past week. Mabin, who played collegiately at Iowa, has played in 34 career NFL games, with the 49ers, Bengals and Jaguars. He spent time on the Titans practice squad last season, and he joined the Cardinals practice squad earlier this month.
Hart, a tackle who played in college at Florida State, joins the Titans a week after the team placed Ty Sambrailo on the Reserve/Retired list, and just two days after left tackle Taylor Lewan entered the concussion protocol in the team's Monday night win over the Bills. Hart has played in 79 games, with 66 starts, on rosters of the Giants and Bengals. Hart rejoined the Bills practice squad last month.
The Titans face the Chiefs on Sunday at Nissan Stadium.
