NASHVILLE – Will Levis isn't worrying about what's happened in the past, where he stands on the depth chart, or, about what anyone has to say about him.
The fourth-year quarterback is focused only on the positive, with a firm belief that better days are ahead for him in the NFL.
"I have definitely grown a lot," Levis said on Saturday, reflecting on his NFL career to this point. "I feel like I was a kid when I got here, and I've definitely turned into a man. There is still a lot of growing that I need to do. … Being able to not care as much about what other people say – I feel like I worked a lot for others peoples' approval at the beginning of my career whereas I am just trying to be the best version of me at this point. And I have more confidence than I've ever had because of that. I don't need to go out there and win X amount of games to feel the confidence; I have the confidence right now.
"I know that I have put the tape out there already that I'm a dang good quarterback in this league, and I am better than I ever have been."
A second-round pick of the Titans in the 2023 NFL Draft, Levis went from back-up to starter to sidelined for a season to now being deep in the team's pecking order at quarterback, behind Cam Ward and Mitchell Trubisky, and instead competing with Hendon Hooker for reps.
Still, Levis said he's having fun.
"I am loving, I'm having so much fun," Levis said. "It has been awesome being in the room with the guys. I feel like we have a really tight-knit group. (OC Brian Daboll) keeps it serious but fun at the same time, (QBs coach) Shea (Tierney) as well. I am just so blessed to be back, playing the game that I love and throwing it how I want to throw it again. It's been awesome."
Levis started nine games during his rookie season in 2023, and then 12 more games in 2024 before a shoulder injury changed the look of his future.
After the Titans drafted Ward first overall in the 2025 NFL Draft, Levis slid into the background. He then disappeared for all of last season after having shoulder surgery, which resulted in him spending the entire season on Injured Reserve.
In training camp, Levis said he's focusing more on having fun instead of pressing. He acknowledged he grew up emotionally and spiritually while away from the game last season.
Levis isn't sure what's going to happen moving forward, but he vowed to be ready, wherever or whenever he is needed.
"I am just trying to make the most of every opportunity that I get," he said. "I can't control the reps that I get, so (I'm) working on myself."
Through everything, Levis said he never lost confidence, or faith that he can be a starter in the NFL.
"100 percent," Levis said. "There are not 32 quarterbacks in this league better than me, I know that for sure. … When I get the opportunities, I know I am going to make the most of it and I'm going to shine."
