NASHVILLE, Tenn. —The Titans on Friday interviewed Chris Polian and Jon Robinson for the team's general manager position.

Among the group Polian and Robinson met with today included Titans controlling owner Amy Adams Strunk and Kenneth Adams IV from the ownership group, and President Steve Underwood.

Former Broncos General Manager Ted Sundquist and current Giants Vice President of Player Evaluation Marc Ross interviewed for the position on Thursday, a day after the team interviewed Martin Mayhew, who most recently served as Executive Vice President of Football Operations and General Manager of the Detroit Lions.

Polian currently serves as director of player personnel for the Jacksonville Jaguars. He joined the Jaguars in 2013 as director of pro personnel after spending three seasons (2009-11) as vice president and general manager of the Indianapolis Colts. Polian spent the 2012 season with the Falcons as executive scout.

Polian first joined the Colts in 1998, as director of pro scouting. He graduated from John Carroll University. His father, Bill, is a former general manager with the Bills, Panthers and Colts, and is currently an analyst with ESPN. His brother, Dennis, is an assistant director of football administration/pro scout for the Titans.

Robinson is in his second season as director of player personnel with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Robinson joined the Buccaneers after 12 seasons with the New England Patriots (2002-13). Robinson worked as New England's director of college scouting (2009-13), and prior to that served as a regional scout and an area scout for the Patriots.

Robinson is a native of Union City, Tennessee. He signed with the U.S. Air Force Academy out of high school before transferring to Southeast Missouri State, where he coached one season (1998) before serving three seasons (1999-2001) at Nicholls State.

Earlier this week, the franchise opted not to renew the contract of Ruston Webster.
