NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Titans tabbed six players — three on defense, three on offense — in the 2003 NFL Draft.

Tennessee selected cornerback Andre Woolfolk with the 28th overall pick in the first round. Woolfolk recorded three interceptions and 18 passes defensed in 11 starts and 39 games over four seasons.

The Titans selected Chris Brown, left, in the third round and safety Donnie Nickey in the fifth round of the 2003 NFL Draft. Click here for a slideshow of that year's draft picks by Tennessee.

The Titans went on offense with their next two selections: receiver Tyrone Calico in the second round with the 60th overall pick and running back Chris Brown from the 93rd spot in the third round.

Calico starred at Middle Tennessee State where he had 194 catches for 2,636 yards and 17 touchdowns, but a severe injury ended his pro career in just three seasons. Calico suffered torn cartilage in his left knee and sprained his right ACL, aggravating an injury from high school, after a short completion in a 2004 preseason game when Dallas defensive back Roy Williams made a horse collar tackling technique that was banned the next year.

Brown started 29 of 54 games in five seasons with the Titans, rushing for 2,757 yards and 16 touchdowns on 643 carries. He started 25 of 26 in the 2004-05 regular seasons, rushing for 1,067 yards and six touchdowns in 2004 and 851 yards and five TDs the following season.

Tennessee added defensive tackle Rien Long in the fourth round and traded up in the fifth and seventh rounds by sending its fifth, sixth and seventh-round picks to New England. The Titans selected Donnie Nickey in the fifth round at 154 and Todd Williams at 225 in the seventh round. Nickey played with the Titans through 2010, becoming a special teams ace and captain along the way. The Patriots drafted center Dan Koppen at 164, quarterback Kliff Kingsbury at 201 and defensive tackle Ethan Kelley at 243.

The Titans have the 10th overall pick in this year's NFL Draft on April 25 and are scheduled to have nine selections during the three-day event.** Click here to visit Titans Draft Central**.
