NASHVILLE, TN, Jan. 25, 2007 — In addition to being a Titans Cheerleader, members of the squad have enjoyed many recent off the field professional accomplishments.

Several have been booked to appear at professional symposiums and seminars. Second year veteran and Marshall University graduate Dana was selected as one of only 15 individuals invited worldwide to attend an international Bluegrass Symposium. In addition, third year veteran Stephanie was recently only one of six invited to attend a National Seminar for Science Teachers in St. Louis, Mo. in March of 2007. Organizers of the event named her a presenter at the seminar because of her extensive background as a fifth grade teacher and expertise in marine biology. In addition, members of the squad have teamed up with other celebrity notables to make a splash on the national entertainment and media scene. Second year veteran and nursing student, Tandra, was recently cast as the lead in a Chevrolet national television advertising campaign. Featured along with Tandra was NASCAR great Dale Earnhardt, Jr. and recording artist T.I. Look for her commercial that will debut during Superbowl XII.

Additionally, Shannon is currently performing on a nationwide dance tour (the Bacardi Be-Live Tour), which includes stops in 10 cities. She is joined by only three other professional dancers, as well as Mix Master Mike from the Beastie Boys and Dan the Automater of the Gorillaz.

Other members of the squad are taking the entrepreneurial spirit to extraordinary levels. Laverne, team captain and high school teacher for four years, recently launched a clothing line entitled Brown Skin (www.ilovemybrownskin.com).

Additionally, fifth year veteran and captain, Valerie is succeeding with her degree in fashion merchandising from Tennessee Tech, and has recently propelled the Express store (at which she is the manager) to become the #1 store in the state of Tennessee for sales and employee satisfaction for the entire 2006 year.

Finally, some squad members can look forward to promising new opportunities in their respective professional and academic fields. After only six months in her new position with MDHA (the Housing Authority), fifth year veteran and captain Sissy was asked to be the company's statewide spokesperson, and will be appearing in multiple advertisements. Joining her success, Megan, who was recently named "Rookie of the Year," was accepted to medical school at both the University of Alabama and at the University of South Alabama.

Congratulations to the Titans Cheerleaders for their off the field accomplishments!
