Hey Titans fans!
I have finally made it to Australia! On Wednesday I flew from Nashville to LA, where I met up with the rest of my tour group. All of us then flew from LA to Sydney together. We landed here today (Friday 1/30) at 8 a.m., which was about 3 p.m. on Thursday for you guys! But, we didn't let jet lag get us down. We immediately dropped our bags at the hotel and headed to the Circular Quay.
Our first stop there was the Sydney Opera House, which was ten times bigger and more beautiful than I imagined. Next, we walked around the harbor, had lunch by the water, and then watched several street performers before taking the ferry across the water. Once on the other side we went to the Taronga Zoo, where we saw kangaroos, koalas, wombats and so many more animals.
We finished the day with dinner in the city, but now we are all tucked in bed. We have an early morning flight to Alice Springs in the morning, so we better get some sleep!
