Preliminary auditions for the 2008 Tennessee Titans Cheerleading squad take place on Saturday, April 19 at Baptist Sports Park.
"I'm looking forward to this year's tryouts because we have the opportunity to add more dynamic women to our talented squad," Kinder said. "Being a Titans' cheerleader is more than just supporting the team from the sidelines. Our women have experienced many national and international opportunities from traveling overseas to visit the U.S. troops to appearing on The Oprah Winfrey Show.
Our cheerleaders are also instrumental locally, supporting a variety of charity endeavors in Middle Tennessee communities."
This year's tryout process begins on Saturday, April 12th with an optional Early Bird Workshop at the Nashville Athletic Club. At the event, participants will be able to speak personally with Kinder and learn some of the choreography prior to the auditions. Space is limited, so applicants must preregister.
All ladies must be 18 and older and must be a high school graduate to be eligible for the 32-member squad. Walkup contestants are welcomed at the audition on the 19th.
