Ryan Succop Named AFC Special Teams Player of the Month

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Titans kicker Ryan Succop has been named AFC Special Teams Player of the Month for September.

Succop has made 10-of-11 field goals in the team's first three games, and is a perfect 8-of-8. He made a 52-yard kick in the season opener against the Raiders Succop has a franchise-best streak of 45 successful field goals inside the 50, dating back to 2014. The NFL record is 46, set by Falcons kicker Matt Bryant.

Succop, who is in his ninth NFL season, currently leads the NFL in scoring.

Succop is the second Titans kicker to win a Player of the Month Award (Rob Bironas, October 2007).
