NASHVILLE – The Titans on Tuesday made a pair of practice squad roster moves, and they also signed two players to reserve/futures contracts for the 2022 season.

The team added running back Jeremy McNichols back to the team's practice squad, just two days after waiving him from the active roster. McNichols has played in 30 games over the past two seasons with the Titans, including 14 games this season.

The Titans also placed running back Jordan Wilkins on the team's Practice Squad Reserve/COVID-19 list. Wilkins, formerly with the Colts, made his Titans debut vs Houston after being a gameday elevation.

The two players signed to futures contracts, which means they won't join the team's roster until after the 2021 season is complete:

-Linebacker Kobe Jones (Mississippi State)

-Defensive back Chris Williamson (Minnesota)

Jones (6-4, 260) entered the NFL as an undrafted college free agent this year with the Atlanta Falcons. He was waived following training camp and spent time on the Miami practice squad. In four seasons at Mississippi State, Jones tallied 102 tackles, 22 tackles for loss, seven sacks, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery over 50 career games.

Williamson (6-0, 205) was a seventh-round selection by the New York Giants in the 2020 NFL Draft. He spent time on the Giants practice squad and the Atlanta Falcons practice squad in 2020. He played five games for the Falcons in 2021 and totaled five tackles. As a college player, Williamson spent his first two seasons at the University of Florida, before finishing his career at Minnesota. In two years for Golden Gophers, he registered 95 tackles, 3.5 sacks, one interception, seven passes defensed and one forced fumble in 23 games.

Reserve/Future deals do not count against the team's salary cap until the new league year begins. They are usually for young players that could have a future with the team.

The Titans return to action in the Divisional round of the playoffs the weekend of January 22-23 at Nissan Stadium against an opponent that's to be determined.
