NASHVILLE – The Titans have agreed to terms with defensive back Shakur Brown.

Brown, who played at Michigan State, has spent time with the Steelers, Chiefs and Lions. Brown most recently played with the Pittsburgh Maulers of the USFL, where he played in nine games and totaled 36 tackles.

Brown (5-10, 190) was a three-year letterwinner at Michigan State, where he played in 26 games with 12 starts (five at cornerback in 2019; two at nickelback and five at cornerback in 2020). He had seven interceptions, nine pass break-ups, 54 tackles and two sacks in his Spartan career and finished his career ranked eighth in MSU history with 186 interception return yards.

Brown worked out for the team earlier this week.

The Titans hit the field for Day 3 of minicamp at 9:15 a.m. Friday.
