Quick Hits on the Titans From Thursday of Falcons Week

QuickHits-(1)

NASHVILLE – The Titans returned to the practice field on Thursday at Ascension Saint Thomas Sports Park to continue preparations for Sunday's game vs the Atlanta Falcons at Nissan Stadium.

Here's a look at the developments of the day, in quick-hitting fashion …

-Every year, K'Von Wallace adds a different color to his hair.

While spending the first part of the season with the Arizona Cardinals, the blue in his hair didn't match his team's uniform colors.

When the Titans claimed Wallace off waivers, that changed.

"I stuck with blue all year," Wallace, who was waived by the Cardinals earlier this week, said with a smile on Thursday. "And it just so happens in matches perfect with my new team."

A fourth-round pick of the Eagles in the 2020 NFL Draft out of Clemson, Wallace started five of six games at safety for the Cardinals prior to this past Sunday's game vs the Seahawks, and from Weeks 2-6 he played every single defensive snap, in addition to playing in special teams. In seven games, Wallace had 43 tackles, four pass breakups and an interception with the Cardinals.

Wallace practiced with his new team for the first time on Thursday after arriving in Nashville Wednesday night around 10 p.m.

"Violence, a person that is going to bring tremendous effort, and a guy who is going to lay it on the line for his team," Wallace said when asked what he brings to the team. "I just have to be ready when my name is called."

Earlier, the Titans acquired safety Terrell Edmunds in the trade that sent safety Kevin Byard to the Eagles.
