NASHVILLE – The Titans returned to the practice field on Thanksgiving Day at Ascension Saint Thomas Sports Park to continue preparations for Sunday's game vs the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Here's a look at the developments from the day:
-Xavier Restrepo had a blast last Sunday.
Now, he's hungry for more.
The Titans rookie receiver played 19 snaps in his NFL debut, and he caught two passes for 26 yards.
"It was awesome playing football again," Restrepo said. "I loved every single second of it, and I give all my glory to the Lord.
"I feel like I played very confident. Obviously, I left some plays out there that I wanted to get back, but for the most part I felt like I blocked great, gave great effort, got open and caught the ball when it came to me. It wasn't perfect. I didn't play a perfect game … I'll be ready whenever they need me."
Restrepo, like quarterback Cam Ward, is a perfectionist.
Restrepo said he missed a few of his landmarks on routes, including once when he didn't get enough depth.
Offensive coordinator Nick Holz said earlier in the week Ward was giving Restrepo a hard time for not scoring on the play when he was tackled at the one, surrounded by three Seahawks.
As it turns out, Ward wasn't joking.
Restrepo said he felt he could have scored two touchdowns in the game, because he couldn't pull one in on another play in the end zone. Restrepo said he should have extended his arms further to make that catch.
"He wasn't kidding," Restrepo said of Cam. "Me and Cam have a relationship where we demand and expect a lot out of each other. … He holds a lot of people up to that expectation, if not everybody."
