Quick Hits on the Titans From Saturday of Bills Week

NASHVILLE – The Titans returned to the practice field on Saturday at Ascension Saint Thomas Sports Park to continue preparations for Monday's game against the Buffalo Bills.

Here's a look at some Titans topics in quick-hitting fashion:

First off, the injuries:

-Titans cornerback Kristian Fulton has been ruled OUT for Monday's game because of a hamstring injury.

-Titans running back Dontrell Hilliard has been ruled OUT for Monday's game because of a hamstring injury.

-Titans offensive lineman Jamarco Jones has been ruled OUT for Monday's game with an elbow injury.

-Titans receiver Kyle Philips, on the injury report with a shoulder injury, practiced again on Saturday in a yellow caution jersey. He's listed on the final Injury Report as QUESTIONABLE after being limited in back-to-back sessions.

-Left tackle Taylor Lewan (knee) practiced in full on Saturday and is good to go.

-Center Ben Jones (not injury related) practiced in full on Saturday and is good to go.

-Guard Nate Davis (knee) returned to practice in full on Saturday after not practicing on Friday and he's good to go.

-Defensive back Lonnie Johnson (groin), who was inactive for the opener, practiced in full again on Saturday and he's good to go.

-Titans OLB Adeniyi (neck) practiced in a yellow caution jersey again on Saturday. He was limited in practices all week but but does have a designation.

-Titans offensive lineman Dillon Radunz (neck) practiced in a yellow caution jersey again on Saturday. He was limited in practices all week and does not have a designation.

-With Hilliard ruled out, running back Hassan Haskins is in line to get more opportunities on Monday against the Bills.

I chatted with Haskins in the locker room on Saturday:

-Titans coach Mike Vrabel was asked on Saturday about receiver Josh Gordon, who is currently on the team's practice squad.

-Titans outside linebacker Rashad Weaver got out of the starting gate in fine fashion.

Weaver recorded two sacks against the Giants on a day when he also recorded four tackles and was credited with three quarterback sacks.

"Sadly, I could probably give you eight sacks in one game and (I) would only look at the stuff I could have done better," Weaver said. "When you are rushing the quarterback or setting edges, you want plays back … I can't be too satisfied just because we lost."

Weaver, whose season was cut short last year because of an injury, knows the Titans have a bigger challenge on Monday night against quarterback Josh Allen and the Bills.

"He's a great athlete, a freak athlete, and he's a big guy, so he's not easy to bring down," Weaver said. "He likes to stiff-arm, and his main thing is to extend the plays. He uses all the things he is blessed with – his size, speed, and ability to get out of the pocket – to try and extend plays and that is where he shows out and make plays happen. SO you have to be able to handle that and go from there.

"But the same way we have to plan for them, they have to plan for us, so we'll be ready."

-Titans OLB/DE Takkarist McKinley, signed to the team's practice squad on Friday, practiced with the team for the second day in a row.

McKinley (6-2, 260) played from 2017-2020 with the Falcons before spending time with the Raiders and Browns. In his NFL career, McKinley has played in 60 career games, with 27 starts, and has been credited with 97 tackles, 20 sacks, 25 tackles for a loss and three forced fumbles.

-The Bills released their final Injury Report on Saturday, and the team added receiver Gabe Davis to the list with an ankle injury and listed him as QUESTIONABLE. The rest of the report looked like this: CB Dane Jackson (knee) was limited and is questionable. DT Ed Oliver (ankle) did not practice and is OUT. DT Tim Settle (calf) was limited and is DOUBTFUL. OL Tommy Doyle (foot) and TE Quintin Morris (hamstring) were full participants and they're good to go. WR Stefon Diggs got the day off on Saturday.

-The Titans are scheduled to travel to Buffalo on Sunday for Monday's game vs the Bills.
